From October 15 to 18, 2024, The Malaysian Army Airwing participated in an intensive training course focused on Electronic Warfare (EW) & Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) threats. Hosted by Grayline at the Pulse Grande Hotel, this comprehensive program was conducted in collaborations with esteemed instructors from the School of Information Operations (SOIO), Scott McGregor and David Bradshaw, both hailing from Australia.
Participants engaged in hands-on learning and practical exercises designed to enhance their understanding of modern warfare challenges and response strategies. The collaboration aims to strengthen the capabilities of The Malaysian Army Airwing in addressing critical security threats in today’s evolving landscape. This initiative underscores our commitment to equipping personnel with the skills necessary to navigate complex operational environments.
In addition to the core training, Prof. Dr. Khairol Amali bin Ahmad conducted a session addressing the current state of Electronic Warfare in Malaysia. His insights provided participants with a deeper understanding of the strategic challenges and opportunities within the nation’s defense landscape. This discussion emphasized the importance of adapting EW capabilities to meet evolving threats, reinforcing the training’s relevance to Malaysia’s security objectives.
To conclude the event, the operations director from Grayline, Earl Stevenson, expressed his gratitude to both the SOIO tutors and The Malaysian Army Airwing officers for their invaluable contributions. He presented them with tokens of appreciation, symbolizing our commitment to ongoing collaboration and knowledge exchange. We look forward to further partnerships that enhance our capabilities and strengthen our defense posture at Grayline.
